We were honoured to welcome a group of students and faculty from Cornell University, one of America’s most prestigious universities, to our UK community project. The group was led by Dr. Jennifer Majka, Director of Diversity and Inclusion at the Charles H. Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management, and her colleague, lecturer James Stapp.
This inspiring team of future leaders and changemakers spent the day on the streets of London, serving meals and distributing essential supplies to homeless people, refugees, and other underserved individuals. Their efforts provided not only practical support—from hot meals and blankets to hygiene kits—but also a powerful reminder of human connection and compassion.
The students and faculty came not just to serve, but to listen, learn, and engage. The experience made a tangible difference for those on the streets and left a lasting impact on everyone involved. We are profoundly grateful for Cornell’s commitment to community service and for the incredible energy the team brought with them.
A special thank you to our UK team members who supported this successful event.
