Partnering For Impact: Refuge Network Welcomes Pharmacy Placement Students From University College London

We are delighted to announce our collaboration with University College London (UCL)—consistently ranked among the top universities globally—as an official placement partner for their Experiential Learning Placements programme. Through this exciting partnership, Refuge Network will host a cohort of Year 1 UCL Pharmacy students, providing them with invaluable, hands-on community insights.

As an organisation deeply rooted in advancing the socioeconomic rights to both education and healthcare, this collaboration aligns perfectly with our core mission. Our frontline services offer these future healthcare professionals a unique, firsthand perspective on how health inequalities intersect with social deprivation in our communities.

By stepping out of the traditional clinical environment and onto the frontline, these students will gain invaluable insight into the barriers vulnerable populations face when accessing healthcare, medicine, and support.
