Fighting Hunger: Our New Partnership With Pret A Manger, The Popular Sandwich Chain

Pret has an ubiquitous presence in London. It is difficult to walk through any high street in central London without seeing one or two Pret A Manger stores! Pret's mission is 'to serve freshly made food and good organic coffee, while also trying to do the right thing'. This socially conscious business with hundreds of branches all over the UK, works with charities and community groups to combat poverty, hunger, and homelessness by donating their unsold food to partner food rescue organisations.

Last week, we started collecting food donations from Pret, our latest food donation partner. Refuge Network is grateful to the team at the Camden high street branch for their warm reception, and the delectable sandwiches, wraps, and pastries we received; they were an instant hit with many of our service users!
